Thank you to our 14 Stew Crews who adopt specific segments of the trail to keep clean and beautiful.
Your help ensures the Trail is always at its best!
Stewardship "Stew Crews" are a great way for organizations, businesses, and neighborhood groups to care for their "own" section of trail.
The Trail needs help with:
Litter Patrol
Removal of Non-Native Plant Species
Planting of Native Species
Reporting of Any Trail Concerns
Each group is trained in safe techniques for accomplishing their Stew Crew duties, and coordinates its efforts with the Friends Volunteer Coordinator. Stew Crew participants receive recognition in the Friends Newsletter and by signs along the trail that recognize the efforts and faithful dedication of volunteers to their adopted trail segment.
